  Went to pick up a few random things and grab something from the prepared foods section for a quick dinner. I found everything I needed. The prepared food was delicious. It does take longer to shop there than your typical store, but it is always worth it in my opinion. My only complaint was that about 1/4 of the hot food available looked like it had been sitting out for quite awhile... but the rest looked great.

  I feel bad for people without a local Stew's, this place is legendary. It's a great grocery store on it's own - great produce and dairy, as well as fresh items - but they also server food (there's a hot bar and during the warmer months a restaurant called the Hoedown where you can get things like lobster and fresh burgers/fries), there's a freakin' place to feed farm animals and seasonal events year round. It's more of an attraction that a grocery market. A lot of items are higher quality than your typical supermarket also - baked goods, produce, dairy - nicer.

  Stew Leonard's is the primary place for me for produce, and the freshest meat and seafood for my budget. My extended family usually sends me gift cards from Stew's at the holidays and this helps my budget stretch as I will use the cards for meat when there is a sale and freeze it. The staff is always top notch and the cashiers will actually remember you after a few visits. And don't skip the bakery shop . Best store hands down.
